Team Format and Qualifying
- GFLB officers will make all final decisions.
- Every participant must be a member of Greers Ferry Lake Bass Masters. Annual membership fee is $25 per person and may be paid at tournament registration.
- Full team membership must be paid even if you are fishing the first tournament alone.
- You must fish one tournament with your designated partner during the regular tournament season in order to qualify for points.
- Either team member may fish the remainder of the tournaments alone but must pay full team entry.
- Both team members may not fish alone in the same tournament.
- Points are awarded at each tournament toward qualifying for the year end championship “Classic” and for “Team of the Year”.
- The scoring system used will be points only starting at 100 for 1st, 99 for 2nd, etc.
- All zeros will be a tie for last place and will receive an equal score. Example: if 60 teams weigh fish and get pts, all zeros would finish tied for 61st and be awarded 40 pts.
- 25 teams will qualify for the “Classic” using the total of your best 5 tournament scores. You must fish at least 5 tournaments to qualify for the “Classic”.
- 5 teams will qualify for the “Classic” through the “Wild Card Tournament”. This tournament also counts for points. The top 5 finishers in this tournament who do not qualify through the points system will qualify. You must fish 6 tournaments total to qualify as a “Wild Card”.
- “Team of the Year” is based on your best 5 scores total. Winners will receive plaques and free entry to all regular season tournaments the following year.
- To fish any traveling tournament (any lake other than Greers Ferry) you must have fished, or paid entry for, (1) Greers Ferry Lake Bass Masters tournament on Greers Ferry prior to the traveling tournament.
